RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If something isn’t right with your order, we are happy to accept a return.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about returning an online order, in-store purchase, or faulty item. Take a moment to read through our policy, and then head to the instructions below.


THE IMPORTANT STUFF – OUR RETURNS POLICY

TO RETURN AN ITEM FOR REPLACEMENT OR EXCHANGE?

If you want to return the item, we can exchange those products subject to the following conditions:

  • Item(s) must be returned within 14 days of purchase, together with proof of purchase.
  • Item(s) must be unworn, unwashed, or otherwise unused with all original tags/labels attached.
  • All returned items will be assessed to ensure they are in the same condition as when shipped prior to issuing the exchange.
  • Accessories cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item received appears different from the description.
  • Gift cards, sale, clearance and second items (item of lesser value, selected as part of Buy-One-Get-One) are not eligible for an exchange.
  • The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost, unless the item is faulty or different from the description/image
    • This includes costs associated with returning the item, any currency conversion and/or local or international taxes (where applicable). 

RECEIVED SOMETHING FAULTY?

If the item received is faulty or different from the description/image, we will happily exchange/replace the item(s) at no cost to the customer provided; the item is returned within a reasonable time and with proof of purchase.

Shipping costs will not be refunded if there are other items listed on the original invoice that aren’t also being exchanged due to fault or incorrect description. 


HOW TO RETURN AN ONLINE ORDER IN STORE

To return an item for an exchange/replacement in-store:

  • Visit the Nutmeg e-commerce office/Legon store: 

             Nutmeg Limited, e-commerce Office, 270/1 New Road

             Behind UPSA, Legon, Ghana

  • Bring along the packing slip that was included in the order or the tax invoice received by email.
  • Accepted items will then be exchanged in store.

 

HOW TO RETURN AN ONLINE ORDER BY POST

If the customer is unable to visit the e-commerce office/Legon store, the item(s) can be returned via courier/post for a voucher to the value of the returned item(s).

Please call us on +233 (0) 500 500005 to enable us to enter the request into the system for processing.

  • Submit an online request
  • Complete the exchange/replacement form that came with your order, pack the item(s) with the return form in a box or satchel, attach the postage label and dispatch.

  • Once received and accepted per the Exchange/Replacement Policy, we will issue a voucher to the value of the returned item(s).
  • The voucher can be online and in store with the customer’s next purchase.
    • For returns made via courier/post, the customer will receive the voucher by email within 2 days of confirmation of acceptance.
    • Should the item(s) be unacceptable, the item(s) would be sent back to the customer after being contacted by Nutmeg Ltd e-commerce department. 

HOW TO RETURN AN IN-STORE PURCHASE

If you purchased your item in store, you can return it to the Store you purchased it from. Items purchased in store can’t be returned neither by Post, nor Online.

  • Drop in to the store your purchased the item from.
  • Don’t forget to bring your proof of purchase!
  • As long as the Returns Policy has been met, we'll offer an exchange in store, on the spot.
